From Guitar Strings to Copper Sheets

Before copper became his central material, Eldin Sprečo's life was already shaped by rhythm, listening, and the discipline of sound. His early love for guitar, inspired by Paco de Lucía, opened a world where every movement carried timing and feeling. Later, through KUD Baščaršija, he played guitar and double bass and traveled through much of Europe with the ensemble. Those years formed a sensitivity that would follow him into the workshop.

He also worked as a sound engineer at public radio and television. That work required patience, precision, and attention to what most people miss: tone, texture, pause, and balance. In a different form, the same qualities live in copperwork.

When Eldin began learning the coppersmith craft in 1996, the material gave sound a new body. Copper sheets answered the hammer. Lines, ornaments, and curves emerged through repeated contact. The workshop became another kind of instrument.

This is why the brand story does not begin only with products. It begins with a life that moved from guitar strings to copper sheets, always following the language of sound.
